Greetings...welcome to your Fire Replicas Newsletter for August/September!
Just a brief update this month as we are quite busy having just returned from a couple of months of travel for tradeshows and future model photography. Also, we just wrapped up a week of long days, getting all the backorders out from the newly arrived container of models.
Next week we're heading to our factory for 2 weeks of development work. We haven't had a need to go there since our last trip in 2018...a tribute to the first class operation there, which has allowed us to run smoothly via phone/email for the past 6 years. My son, Nic 2 will be going with, and I can't wait to see his face when for the first time he has to use the "hole in the ground toilets". :) All kidding aside, we have a long agenda for both Fire and Heavy Haul Replicas and looking forward to seeing our team again in person.
The recent shipment arrived early, containing the LA Squad 51, Chicago Spartan Trucks, Dallas Pierce Trucks, Memphis Pierce Engines and the FDNY Mack MR Decon Units. The next shipment will arrive in late September and those models are in the release schedule below.
We're continuing to free up shelf space and offering some incentives on models that may only have one left in a box. This has been quite well-received, and helpful to us, so we'll keep it going.
Hard to believe that we're already coasting into the closing months of 2024. This November marks 10 years for Fire Replicas since we started FR001, the Kern County Pierce Quantum Tiller. Not sure what we're going to do to celebrate, but I assume it will involve at least 5 minutes of reflection...since we don't have much more time than that. But I can say it has been an intense 10 years and we are so thankful for all of our elite collector customers that we have met along the way. And I can't help but to think about some of our friends that have passed on in the years we've been doing this. Life is so short, so precious. Praying you are all making the most of it with your loved ones.
Call or email if I can help in any way...thank you all!
Nicholas
