2023年7月13日，美国中国总商会芝加哥（以下简称 "芝加哥商会"）会长倪频出席了商会合作伙伴USACCC在芝加哥举办的第二十二届中美贸易年会。

本次大会以 “全球不确定性增加时期的战略”为主题，在当前动荡的政治气候下，探索新的合作机遇和双边贸易，以巩固中美关系。来自美国制造业的近100位企业家和专业人士参加了此次活动。

中国驻美国芝加哥总领事赵建向与会者介绍了中国重新开放的机遇、其他演讲嘉宾向与会者介绍了中国企业在美国的商业战略，人口结构的变化、争端的增加; 当前制造业风险、融资策略、风险管理, 跨境电子商务机遇的见解。

在回答主持人“美国企业如何吸引中国投资者”的问题时，倪频会长指出“因为缺乏沟通，缺乏理解，目前美中关系土壤中仅剩很少营养，我们需要重建沃土”，他将在近期带领美国商务代表团赴中国访问，美国商务界反响热烈,积极报名参加。他们迫切需要双方面对面地直接交流。

会议在共同期待中美贸易繁荣的气氛中结束。

On July 13, 2023, Pin Ni, the Chairman of China General Chamber of Commerce U.S.A. - Chicago (referred to as "CGCC Chicago"), attended the 22nd US-China Trade Conference held by the CGCC Chicago's partner, USACCC, in Chicago.

The theme of the conference was " Growth Strategies in the New Era amid Increasing Global Uncertainties," aiming to explore new cooperation opportunities and bilateral trade to strengthen the China-US relationship in the current turbulent political climate. Nearly 100 entrepreneurs and professionals from the American manufacturing industry participated in the event.

The Chinese Consul General in Chicago, Zhao Jian, introduced the opportunities of China's reopening, and other guest speakers provided insights into Chinese companies' business strategies in the United States, changes in population structure, increasing disputes, current risks in manufacturing, financing strategies, risk management, and opportunities in cross-border e-commerce.



When asked about how American companies can attract Chinese investors, Chairman Pin Ni pointed out, "Due to a lack of communication and understanding, the soil of China-US relations currently contains very little nutrition, and we need to rebuild fertile ground." He announced that he would lead a US business delegation to visit China in September, and the response from the American business community has been enthusiastic, with many actively signing up to participate. There is an urgent need for face-to-face direct communication between the two sides.

The conference concluded with a shared expectation for the prosperity of China-US trade.

2023年7月26日，美国中国总商会芝加哥与香港美中商会（HKBAM）、香港贸易发展局（HKTDC）和Garrett Brands共同举办了夏季联谊交流会。此次活动在风景优美的芝加哥河畔举行，旨在加强中美两国企业间的联系、促进合作并加强双边关系。

夏季联谊交流会欢迎来自不同行业的政府代表、商界人士、非政府组织和学者，为讨论重要问题和探索合作新机遇营造了活跃而多元的氛围。香港贸易发展局（HKTDC）局长Winchell Cheung、Garrett Brands业务发展高级副总裁Mark Staublin和香港贸易发展局（HKTDC）业务发展经理Christine M. Barragan等嘉宾出席了此次活动。他们的出席凸显了交流会作为高层接触平台的重要意义。

芝加哥中总有多位知名会员出席了此次活动，其中包括来自Perkins & Will建筑师事务所的Phil Tu、中国东方航空的Melody Zhou、巴恩斯-索恩伯格律师事务所的华商顾问Octavia Xu，以及美中总商会芝加哥的工作人员，包括Anthea Yung、Katia Xu和Peiyu Zhang。

On July 26th, 2023, the China General Chamber of Commerce U.S.A. - Chicago (CGCC Chicago) proudly co-hosted the Summer Networking Mixer alongside esteemed partners, the Hong Kong Business Association of the Midwest (HKBAM), Hong Kong Trade Development Council (HKTDC), and Garrett Brands. The event took place beside the scenic Chicago River and aimed to strengthen networks, foster collaboration, and enhance bilateral ties between corporations from China and the United States.

The Summer Networking Mixer brought together key stakeholders, governmental representatives, business owners, NGOs, and scholars, creating a vibrant and diverse atmosphere for discussing vital issues and exploring new opportunities for cooperation. The event was graced by esteemed representatives, including Winchell Cheung, the Director of Midwest Hong Kong Trade Development Council (HKTDC); Mark​ Staublin, Senior Vice President of Business Development in Garrett Brands; and Christine M.
