Hello and welcome to Summer!

Here at Foothills Compassionate Care, we are doing our best to stay cool and enjoy all that summer brings.

This month we celebrate Certified Nursing Assistants' and Home Health Aides' Appreciation week (June 11-17). While we celebrate our CNAs and HHAs everyday, we celebrate a little extra this week!

We are fortunate to work with some of the best in the world. Each of our team members here have both certifications (CNA & HHA) to ensure they can provide the best care in any setting. Thank you for all of the dedication, support and compassion with which you do your work everyday!

By the way-our Penn Valley Gift & Thrift JUST got a much needed new air conditioning unit. If you need a spot to cool down, stop by and see us. I know there is a treasure waiting for you that you didn’t even know you needed!

During CNA & HHA Week, we're celebrating the incredible team members who provide hands-on care, comfort, and companionship to the patients and families we serve.

Our Certified Nursing Assistants and Home Health Aides are often the people who help make each day a little easier—offering assistance, encouragement, dignity, and compassion when it's needed most. Their work goes far beyond tasks and routines; they build meaningful connections and bring comfort during some of life's most vulnerable moments.

To our CNAs and HHAs: thank you for the expertise, kindness, and dedication you bring to every patient, every family, and every visit. Your care leaves a lasting impact on our community.

We enjoyed meaningful conversations with service members at Armed Forces Day, held at the Nevada County Airport in Grass Valley.

Celebration of Lives

We gathered to honor, remember, and celebrate the lives of those who have died on our service, or in relation to members of our bereavement groups, this past year.

Breakfast Club

We joined other members of the senior care community at our monthly breakfast club gathering, this month hosted by Sierra View Senior Living.

We held space for reflection and cherished memories at Hooper & Weaver.
