Twelve Days & Counting!

Important Updates and Reminders

In less than two weeks, the Diocese of Hawai'i will be hosting its largest and most important event in nearly two decades, with the ordination and consecration of its sixth bishop. Those taking part in the service and related activities should have already received separate emails with specific details and instructions. If you did not receive an email last week, be sure to contact Alofa Carpenter, Bishop Transition Administrative Assistant HERE.

Here are important updates and reminders for everyone as November 14 approaches:

RSVP IS REQUIRED

While the deadline for the reception has passed, you may still sign up to attend the service. Remember, YOU MUST RSVP AHEAD OF TIME! While the form currently shows only Tenney Theatre and St. Paul's available to watch the livestream, seats in the Cathedral may open up on the day of. Only those who have RSVP'd will be eligible for those seats on a first-come, first-served basis. Be sure to check-in under the Aloha Tent between the Cathedral and Memorial Building. Click on the button to RSVP now!

CHILD CARE IS AVAILABLE from 9:00 AM-1:00 PM. Sign up on the RSVP form.

PARKING PASSES ARE REQUIRED

Free parking for the event will require a parking pass PER CAR which will be available on a first-come, first-served basis. The parking lots of the Cathedral of St. Andrew, St. Paul's Church, Hawai‘i Theater for Youth, St. Andrew's Schools, St. Peter's Church, and Ke‘elikōlani Middle School will all be reserved for the valets. On-site parking is limited, so early arrival, carpooling and rideshare are highly recommended. If you do not have a parking pass, there are paid public parking lots in the Downtown/Chinatown district. For directions to the Cathedral, visit Google Maps HERE.

LIVESTREAM LINKS: Plan those Watch Parties!

For those who cannot be there in person, especially those on the neighbor islands, plan a church or group watch party and celebrate with the rest of the diocese virtually! You may watch the service through the following links:
