Many of us are realizing that the current situation we are in isn’t simply going to go away --- we’re in it for “the long haul”. Whether we look at this time as a marathon, a series of short “sprints”, or time spent “on the bench” (voluntary or forced by circumstance), we all need to develop and strengthen the resilience that will serve us and the needs of this time.
Being resilient - as an individual, as a community, as a living system - means having the capacity to “rebound” in the light of challenging experiences. This inner strength in the face of adversity is often deeply connected with feeling a sense of healthy coherence - in ourselves, in our lives, and in our social field.
Tending to our health - on both inner and outer levels - gives us the inner strength, the resilience, to be in challenging circumstances without breaking. It’s about staying in a place of physical, emotional, spiritual and mental coherence that lets us feel the life force moving through us and into the social fields we touch with our work.
Read on to see how we are touching & engaging in the social field this month!
