Happy February!  This month at school, we celebrate our school counselors—Ms. Sage and Ms. Michelle—and all they do to amplify student learning! They are an invaluable resource in helping create environments that support every student’s academic, career, and social-emotional development. From helping students set goals and strengthen habits of learning, to supporting attendance and removing barriers such as social-emotional challenges, they do so much—and we are truly grateful to have them as part of our school community.  Please reach out to them if you have any questions or concerns about supporting your child!

Hello Wildcat community,

Thank you for the continued support you show our school and our students. As we approached budget development this year, we did so with a strong commitment to fiscal responsibility by maximizing efficiencies and being thoughtful stewards of taxpayer dollars without adding new costs. As we look ahead to the vote at Town Meeting Day, we hope we can count on your continued trust and support.

Congratulations to the 6 WRVHS students who auditioned for and were selected to attend the Winooski District Jazz Festival! This 2 day festival brings together the best middle and high school jazz musicians in Central Vermont! Throughout the 2 days of rehearsing, students get the privilege to be under the direction of top notch jazz musicians/educators. The festival takes place Thursday and Friday, February 5th-6th at U-32 MS/HS in Montpelier. The festival culminates in a performance this evening at 6pm for MS ensembles and 7pm for HS ensembles.
