It was an absolute delight working with several agencies throughout the four-county service area with the Local Food Purchasing Assistance (LFPA) grant between August 2024 – March 2026.

At CAUW/CFP, we work diligently to ensure the funding we receive is distributed as equitably as possible. With this grant, we wanted to demonstrate how funds were allocated across the counties we serve. While distributing funds strictly according to population is the ideal, it can be challenging for a variety of reasons. See the County Comparison for how the funds were distributed throughout the four-county service area.

You can also see the item totals of what was provided in each county -- look at all the food we distributed by working together!

Working together and maximizing our collective resources is what we strive for, and we were able to do just that through the partnership of several agencies.

Rooted in Relationships Cohort 3 gathered for their first Collaboration in August to go over an overview of what their first year of Pyramid Training and Coaching would look like and to hear from two of our Cohort 1 providers. Amanda Wemhoff and Shannon Stutzman shared their testimonies of how the Pyramid Training improved their programs and how having a coach made a difference in their lives. There was food, socializing, a getting to know each other activity and a finale cheer! We are off to a good start and ready to GO!

A Circle of Security Class is being offered to parents at the library. Please see the attached flyer for information. This is a great class to understand how your children think and how you can help them along on their journey in life. Free childcare is included with this free class. Great opportunity to meet other parents and to discuss and learn together about the most important people in your life.
