Calendar auction live through Oct 31!   tl;dr: AACSR calendar auction is open through Oct. 31. Go bid! Dog rescue is a hard life. Abandoned Angels Cocker Spaniel Rescue are an all-volunteer team who do this work on a shoestring budget, and there’s always a rescued cocker or three in our care in need of medical help. Luckily, there are more than a few bright spots in our year—none more fun than creating our annual wall calendar with our cocker community (that’s you!). Winning a page in our calendar or getting a special $25 Halo Date message makes for a really thoughtful holiday gift. Though fewer people use wall calendars these days, we like to think of ours as a delightful analog photo display, highlighting some special dogs who bark at the chance to keep our rescue going. Since our founding, we have rescued over 5,000 dogs and touched exponentially more lives. Will you help us save our next 5,000?   Here’s how you can participate: • Option 1: Bid to win ○ Each month features a photo of a special spaniel(s) or “honorary spaniel.” Is your dog a love bug who should model for February? Do you have some spaniels who love tricks AND treats for October? Bid to win your favorite month—or months! If you win, a favorite photo of your best friend(s) will be featured with a special caption. Bidding is open through Saturday, October 31, and you can set a maximum bid amount.   • Option 2: Get a Halo Date ○ AACSR supporters have so many wonderful tales (and tails!) to recognize. You can secure the special dates on our 2027 calendar that mean the most to you, whether a beloved pet’s birthday, a gotcha day, a remembrance of their life with you, or any message or meaningful day for your family. Getting a Halo Date is a wonderful way to donate to our rescue. Last year, one of our supporters practically wrote a story throughout the year via Halo Date messages. Days are going fast, so be sure to secure yours today! Halo Dates are $25 per day, on a first come, first bought basis, and messages should be limited to 45 characters.   Halo Dates   Calendar Auction The Tail Continues As a supporter of Abandoned Angels Cocker Spaniel Rescue, you know how much love and care goes to each dog that comes our way. Don’t forget: bidding ends at 11:59pm ET on October 31st.   P.P.S. If you have specific questions, email AbandonedAngelsCalendar@gmail.com.   P.P.P.S. Calendars will be on sale by early December.
