I would like to take some time out from speaking about business to share with you a topic that is much more personal and emotional.
I am without words to express my feelings on what is happening now in Israel. I am emotionally drained and not able to sleep. My wife and I are constantly connected to the news and on the phone with family and friends there thanking God that many are safe, but also hearing horror stories. I am filled with grief and fear for what will happen next.
Those who know me, know how connected I am to Israel and how the horrible attacks have left me devastated. What you may not remember is that there is an even deeper connection from my days with OzVision. The company is located on the Kibbutz Nahal Oz, just across from Gaza. As you saw on the news, the kibbutz was hit hard with brutal killings and kidnappings of children, women, and senior citizens. Homes were destroyed.
Many people in the industry are asking me how they can help. Of course, my heart is also set on helping the people of the Kibbutz Nahal Oz. I am looking to the industry to assist in these efforts. Below is a video that explains the emotional story first-hand.
My hope is to get the word out, increase awareness of the unspeakable horrors and potentially receive donations. There is an urgent need for help.
Although I now live in the United States, my heart and soul are in Israel. This was an unprecedented, unwarranted, excessive, and violent attack that most people cannot imagine living through.
