Dacotah Bank opens new branch in Fargo with food and funds match
To celebrate the grand opening of a new Dacotah Bank location in Fargo, bank president Judd Graham pledged to match all food and fund donations received in September, otherwise known as Hunger Action Month.

We would like to thank and congratulate our friends at Dacotah Bank for their total gift of $4,000 that will be used to provide immediate assistance to neighbors in need. Our partnerships in the Fargo-Moorhead area and surrounding communities are essential in our ongoing hunger-relief efforts.
Elevating Voices to End Hunger Together
People facing hunger are at the center of our work.

Through a nationwide community listening initiative - Elevating Voices to End Hunger Together - Feeding America, working alongside network food banks including the Great Plains Food Bank, statewide associations and partner food pantries, sought input on anti-hunger solutions from tens of thousands of people with lived experience from across the country.

This three-month initiative included text message outreach, surveys, questionnaires and listening sessions for nearly 36,000 respondents, which brought forward policy recommendations based on the insights gathered. These anti-hunger recommendations, supported by our neighbors facing hunger, are grounded in prioritizing dignity, increasing access, expanding opportunity and improving health.

Real Stories of Hunger: Terri
Terri moved to Florida after her mother, who she was caring for, passed away. After a job she was promised fell through, she found herself struggling to put food on the table.

With help from her local food pantry, Terri was able to focus on getting back on her feet. She now gives back by volunteering at the same pantry that helped her.
