Help Students Demystify STEM Careers
By 2025, there will be an estimated 3.5 million STEM jobs that need to be filled in the U.S. Now is the time for high school students to be looking ahead, but many students have a limited understanding of the broad range of STEM career paths available and their differing educational requirements.
The Career Discovery Tool introduces students to STEM careers that align with their interests and educational plans.
Not Every STEM Career Requires a 4-Year Degree
Many STEM careers are available with two-year degrees or certifications, and the Career Discovery Tool can help students understand the various educational pathways that exist for STEM careers that might interest them.
Try the Career Discovery Tool with students to see what careers they will uncover and what they will learn about similar careers in a field of interest that may have very different educational pathways.
