Chamber Welcomes Two New Members

We’re welcoming Curtis Media Group to our Chamber this month! Curtis Media Group is a powerhouse in Eastern North Carolina, operating five award-winning radio stations that reach 20 counties. Whether you're tuning in to 106.5 WSFL for classic rock and John Boy & Billy in the morning, Magic 103.3 for workday favorites, 101.9 Kiss FM for hip-hop and R&B, 99.5 The Wave for Top 40 hits, or 105.9 Beach Boogie and Blues, broadcasting right from Winterville, Curtis Media has a station for every listener.

But they’re more than just radio! Curtis Media Group also helps businesses grow with Big Deals, an online gift certificate program that provides advertising in exchange for gift cards. Their Curtis Digital Marketing division offers innovative solutions like Social Mirror ads—turning social media posts into interactive web banners placed across top apps and websites. Plus, they provide professional voice work and DJ services for events, phone systems, and more.

We’re thrilled to have Curtis Media Group as part of the Chamber and look forward to seeing how they help our local businesses connect with their audiences. Reach out to Dustin Dukawicz to learn more at ddukawicz@curtismedia.com.

We are excited to welcome Lissa’s Lovely Creations, a faith-based, family-run business dedicated to turning creative visions into reality. Owned by Melissa Revels, Lissa’s Lovely Creations specializes in custom apparel, tumblers, accessories, wind spinners, garden flags, vinyl sublimation, DTF transfers, and more—all crafted in-house.

More than just a business, Lissa’s Lovely Creations is a family affair. Melissa’s entire family plays a role in the process, and her son’s passion shines through in the business’s custom bead bar, a favorite at local markets. Melissa says she wants to teach her kids skills they can use in their futures by providing them with hands-on experience now.

Faith is at the heart of Lissa’s Lovely Creations, and many of their products reflect Christian values and inspirational messages. The family is also actively involved in local churches and is committed to giving back to the community. Their work extends beyond creativity—many of their designs focus on raising awareness for autism and breast cancer, making their products both meaningful and personal.

Whether you’re looking for a custom piece that speaks to your heart or a unique gift, Lissa’s Lovely Creations is ready to bring your ideas to life. Be sure to check them out online at www.lissalovelycreations.com or at the Market on the Square this summer, where you’ll not only find beautiful handcrafted items but also meet the family behind the business.

Having just announced the launching of our new program, BREW, I am both relieved and excited! This has been in the works for about a year. A big thank you to those who helped by giving their time and advice on this project: Angela Cunningham with Grace & Grit Mobile Thrift Store, April Kelly with Sure!, Gloria Jinks with Sweet Porpos, Pamela Locke with First Citizens Bank, Lisa Wilson with Offroad Realty, Halle Nobles with the SBC at PCC, and Tristyn Daughtry with the Town of Winterville.

I'm looking forward to having our first Business *After* Hours of 2025 at Gypsy Spirit Boutique's new location! We are very excited about Brightspeed for Business coming on to sponsor these events this year! Hope to see you all there.
