Udon Nomi to Grand Open April 17 in Downtown Elgin

Elgin, IL April 17, 2023: Udon Nomi is officially open starting today, Monday, April 17, 2023. For their Grand Opening, they will be open throughout the entire week until Sunday, April 23. Visit them between the hours of 12 PM to 9 PM at 23 S. Grove Avenue in downtown Elgin. Beginning on Wednesday, April 26, Udon Nomi will maintain the official hours of Wednesday through Sunday, 12 PM to 9 PM.

Udon Nomi brings a new Japanese, Korean, and Thai fusion concept to Elgin. They offer a variety of delicious udon and ramen dishes, rice bowls, and house specialties that are always made fresh to order.

Champ Akkarapol, the owner of Udon Nomi, has been continuing his family’s legacy of doing business in the Elgin and Fox Valley area since 2007 and 2009 with his family owning and operating Toom Toom Thai in downtown Elgin. He chose downtown Elgin because of the “great community for working people, families, and diversity.” It is important to Champ that Elgin supports the LGBTQ+ community. “We also want to bring people to downtown Elgin for more variety of food options and to promote multicultural food. Food connects people. We want to be one option to make downtown Elgin busy and fun again,” says Champ.

Be sure to check out the newly renovated and updated space this week until Sunday, April 23. Then you can visit them Wednesday through Sunday, or order online through their website! (udonnomi.com)
