Spring/Summer 2026

Bridging Silos, Building One Community for Health Equity

A Note from Health Equity Initiative

Greetings from Health Equity Initiative!

We hope you’re having a restorative spring. As we continue through 2026, HEI remains focused on strengthening connections across our community. Through shared resources, blog posts, social media updates, and conversations in our listserv group, we are committed to creating spaces for collaboration, learning, and engagement.

Looking ahead to the fall and winter, HEI is excited about our plans to launch new initiatives and deepen our engagement with the community. We’re especially looking forward to creating new opportunities to collaborate with community-based organizations (CBOs), bring the health equity community together for much needed conversations and action, and strengthen our collective impact.

In the meantime, we invite you to stay connected by joining the listserv and sharing resources, opportunities, ideas, and reflections with fellow community members, along with keeping up with HEI through the newsletter and our social media channels.

More updates are on the way. Stay tuned!

About Health Equity Initiative

Health Equity Initiative (HEI) is a volunteer nonprofit organization dedicated to building and sustaining a global community that engages across sectors and disciplines to advance health equity. By bringing together and enlisting the efforts of the public and private sectors, professions and communities that have both a stake and an influence on social determinants of health, HEI advocates for improving conditions and achieving equity in health for all. We focus on championing transformative change, supporting knowledge, engaging communities and leaders, and building capacity across sectors and disciplines to address barriers that prevent people from leading healthy and productive lives.
