As always, I hope this email finds you well. I'll be brief, but apropos of nothing, in particular, I'd wager certain state-centric songs by Ray Charles and Gladys Knightare very popular right now. Anyway, I'll shift my focus from the peach state to the Garden State. I mention New Jersey because our neighboring state, easily seen from Red Hook, maybe implementing new restrictionsto slow COVID-19's spread.
Those pending restrictions should be a sufficient warning and reminder to people here in the Empire State and Kings County to keep our distance, cover our faces, and follow all other safety protocols. While some may welcome the warm weekend, the curve growing rounderis not welcome.
I will end there and say you should read below my email signature, see some hopes for what could be, and stay safe.
P.S Please forgive any typos or brain freezes in the text as I get these updates out in haste at the end of the day, and if there is a community-centric item you think I should know aboutplease reach out.
