Mission and Outreach

Neighbor Fund - Supporting Immigrants in Our Community

Valentines for Food - Feeding Our Neighbors

Final week of the campaign!

This is the final week of Valentines for Food. As we near the close of this campaign, we give thanks for every food donation, every gift, and every act of service offered this month.

Jesus tells us, “I was hungry and you gave me food,” and Micah calls us to “do justice, love kindness, and walk humbly.” Together, we are living out that call and nourishing our community in love.

Thank you for your continued partnership with Arm In Arm as we work together to expand food access across Mercer County.

Mission Spotlight

In February, the Nassau Presbyterian Church Mission & Outreach Committee pledged $25,000 to support the construction of a Social, Healing, and Educational Center in Stradch, Ukraine. The Parish of the Assumption of the Blessed Virgin Mary in Stradch has been working throughout the war to provide spiritual and psychological support to those impacted by the conflict and established a Resilience Center to that end. The parish recently acquired a new building to expand and continue their work and requested funds to create a new Center in that space. We at Nassau are inspired by the parish’s work to promote peace and healing!

Adults Needed (21+)

Warmer. Safer. Drier.

Nassau Church is preparing for our annual ASP mission trip to Appalachia — and we are just 4–5 adult leaders short of our goal. ASP teams are made up of 2 adults and 5 teens, and we hope to take more than 60 participants this year. To make that possible, we need a few more adults willing to offer steady presence, encouragement, and leadership for the week.

No construction experience? No problem. ASP provides training, and the work is relational, meaningful, and deeply impactful. The most important qualification is a willingness to serve alongside our youth and support families in need.

Deposit forms are available in the literature rack outside the church office and on the Youth Ministry section of our website.
