Message from Principal Hamilton

Dear Everest Parents,

Congratulations to all of our May Knights of Virtue for exemplifying the virtue of Prudence! Earlier this month, our third and fifth graders taught us a wonderful virtue cheer: “Stop! Think. Pray. Choose.” These four simple steps are a beautiful guide to virtuous living. When your child is struggling to make respectful or responsible choices, you might ask them: What are the four steps to making better choices? (If they need a reminder, try the motions together: stretch out your hand like a stop sign, point to your head, fold your hands in prayer, and then open your hands.)

As we approach the final days of the school year, we hope you can join us for these special upcoming events:

  • Talent Show – Come and celebrate the many gifts and talents of our students tomorrow, Friday, May 29, from 1:00–3:00 p.m.
  • Field Day – Join the fun on Monday, June 1, from 8:15 a.m.–1:00 p.m. We are still in need of volunteers!
  • 8th Grade Graduation – Please keep our graduating class in your prayers and join us for the Commencement Mass and Graduation Ceremony on Tuesday, June 2 at 11:30am.
  • Corpus Christi Eucharistic Procession – Gather with us on Thursday, June 4, at 12:30 p.m. as we honor Our Lord in the Eucharist. The procession will begin at the grotto.
  • Closing Mass & Year-End Celebration – Please join us for our final All School Mass at 8:15 a.m. as we give thanks to God for a wonderful year together. Following the Awards Ceremony at 12:00 p.m., we will conclude the year by burying a time capsule and receiving a special blessing at the grotto.

Lastly, I would like to once again extend my heartfelt gratitude to our many volunteers — parents, grandparents, and friends of Everest. We simply could not do what we do without your generosity, support, and dedication. Thank you for sharing your time, talents, and love with our school community.

May God bless your families as we finish this school year with joyful and grateful hearts!

Rejoicing in gratitude for God's blessings,

Candy Hamilton

Field Day Info

Field Day is almost here, (Monday, June 1) and we couldn’t be more excited! This fun-filled day of games, teamwork, and outdoor adventure is one of the highlights of the school year, and we’re looking forward to seeing everyone’s energy, enthusiasm, and school spirit! This includes a dunk tank, eggs toss, soccer, water balloons and much more! If it rains, our field day will take place in the classrooms with games planned for each room.

To make sure everyone has a safe and awesome time, here are a few important reminders:

✅ Bring a small bag and reusable water bottle – staying hydrated is key!

✅ Apply sunscreen and bring some with you – we’ll be spending lots of time outside.

✅ Pack a towel – you will get wet, and that’s part of the fun!

✅ Bring a lunch if you did not pre-pay one through school.

We’re counting down the days and can’t wait for a day of fun!
