| Lately, I've been spending time with a little girl named Fatita (short for little Fatima), and oh, what fun we've been having! We've been sewing, weaving, painting, photographing, and following wherever our curiosity takes us. You see, Fatita is me — my inner child, the little girl who loved to explore, imagine, and create without rules, expectations, or limitations. Reconnecting with her has brought a wonderful sense of play, freedom, and discovery back into my creative journey. From abstract painting to stitching and weaving my photographs into entirely new works of art, I'm letting curiosity lead the way, experimenting with different mediums, and embracing the unexpected. There's something wonderfully liberating about creating simply for the joy of it, without knowing exactly where the journey will take you. And I have a feeling Fatita and I are just getting started!
Some of our latest creative adventures have found their way to the Round Top Antique & Design Show, October 17–31! I'm sharing an ever-changing collection of artwork, from my horses and Western-inspired series to photographs capturing the people, places, and experiences from my travels around the world. I'm especially excited to introduce some of my newest mixed-media pieces, including artwork mounted on vintage tin ceiling tiles — where a little history meets a whole lot of imagination! Come see what Fatita and I have been dreaming up and what's been galloping out of the studio lately. I'd love for you to stop by, say hello, and share in this playful new chapter of my artistic journey.
Find me at The Halles, Building 6, Round Top, Texas!
October 17–31 | Open Daily, 9 AM–6 PM
