If you want to aid in keeping the lamp that is Church of the Servant filled with oil, know that it’s not too late! To help make sure your church is prepared and ready to respond to God’s call in the coming year, I invite you to turn in a physical pledge card in the offering plate this Sunday. Or, if more convenient, you’re welcome to fill out a digital card by going to servantokc.org/commitment-card.

Prime Time Fellowship Luncheon
Thursday, December 10, 10:30 AM
| |
Celebrate the Christmas season with Prime Time and a very special presentation of “Mary, the Mother of Jesus.”
Storyteller Sally Riffey will bring Mary’s story to life, portraying her journey from a young girl in Nazareth to the astonishing visit from an angel and her faithful journey to Bethlehem. Through Sally’s storytelling, we’ll experience the wonder, uncertainty, faith, and joy that led to that holy night when Mary welcomed Jesus into the world.
Sally is a native of Oklahoma City and feels that her roots go deep into Oklahoma’s red clay. Her stories have been called “Stories from the Heart.” As a Storyteller, Sally has a deep passion for biblical stories. A highlight of Sally’s storytelling career was the opportunity to tell biblical stories at several sites in Israel, including in Jerusalem and at the Sea of Galilee. Sally does portrayals of Mary the Mother of Jesus, including at Church of the Servant’s “Walk Through Bethlehem,” Mary Magdalene, and other women from Scripture, all in biblical costume.
Michele Snow will provide us with a yummy meal that includes an entrée, vegetable, salad, bread, beverage, and dessert. The program and meal cost $15 ($5 for the program only).
Church of the Servant has an active group that was originally developed for Senior adults who participate in small groups, Bible studies, and other activities throughout the year. Now, adults of all ages are welcome!
