Greetings!

Communities of faith were the anchor institutions in neighborhoods since the beginning. Their significant role appears to have been overlooked in recent years. This is quite unfortunate because these communities are rich in resources and social capital. Churches have assets often referred to in financial circles as non-performing assets, e.g., property, venue space, and professional expertise among their membership. It is time to reimagine how to partner with these institutions and create lasting social impact in the families served.

The workforce is experiencing rapid changes driven by emerging technologies. There is a demand for specific skills in STEM, and not necessarily a college degree. These skills can be learned by youth and parents in the places they trust most. Learn more by completing our engagement online form here.

Pastor Keith Davis, Co-Chair of NICE Working Group to Promote Career Discovery in multiple pathways to high-paying cybersecurity jobs.

Cybersecurity skills are crucial in today's workforce; join our monthly NICE call and learn from a national team of subject matter experts in the field. The NICE Cybersecurity Workforce Framework is the foundation for increasing the size and capability of the U.S. cybersecurity workforce. It provides a standard definition of cybersecurity, a comprehensive list of cybersecurity tasks, and the knowledge, skills, and abilities required to perform those tasks. The core functions are identify, protect, detect, respond, and recover; aid organizations in their effort to spot, manage, and counter cybersecurity events promptly.
