In the case of Grants Pass v. Johnson, the Supreme Court ruled in favor of Grants Pass last month, deciding that an ordinance from the Oregon city that effectively banned homeless residents from camping on public property was constitutional. As a result of the ruling, Governor Newsom recently ordered the clearing of homeless encampments. 

Addressing homelessness is a key issue for our industry given its impacts to the business community across the state. We applaud the Governor for his efforts to address this critical issue impacting our state.

The newly formed Supply Chain Council was recently spotlighted by CNBC seeking a new approach to shipping related legislation. Our industry is pleased to partner with the Council and support their push for more domestic infrastructure investment to safeguard the supply chain. 

Supply chain issues remain a key issue for our industry, as a co-chair of the Goods Movement Alliance and now in partnership with the Supply Chain Council. We look forward to continued partnership to address our common interests.
