Mountain Biking Season is Approaching,

Register now for Spring Sessions and Summer Camps

The snow is still here and skiing is still awesome… when it’s not raining. I’m not ready to say “put the skis away” just yet — but I am saying it’s time to start thinking about what’s next.

Spring Sessions and Summer Bike Camps are now open for registration, and we have built some great options to keep kids active, learning, and outside.

Both our Spring Sessions and Summer Camps are designed to build skills, confidence, and a love for being active outdoors in a fun, safe, and supportive environment. Whether your child is just getting started or looking to improve, our coaches meet them where they are at and help them progress. Riders will develop key skills like climbing and descending, braking and gearing, cornering and control, bike setup and adjustments, and technical riding.

We mix in plenty of games and fun along the way, and groups are organized by age and ability to ensure every participant has a great experience and leaves feeling more confident and ready for new challenges.

Another Successful Brewski

We wrapped up another fantastic Brewski this past weekend, and what a day it was. Blue skies, great conditions, live music, delicious food, and a solid lineup of brews (and ciders) made for an awesome atmosphere out on the trails.

A huge thank you to Nicole and Carolyn for leading the charge, and to our incredible volunteers who kept everything running smoothly at the stations — from the bar to the grill and everything in between. Beetlekill absolutely crushed it again with the live music and left us all wanting more, and our grooming team did an outstanding job setting up a great course for the day.

All around, just a really fun day at the club. Thanks to everyone who came out and made it what it was! We hope to see you all again next year!

March Madness is Here:

Spring Skiing at Caledonia

As we all know, Spring has arrived, and some of the best skiing of the season is happening right now at Caledonia Nordic. I had a fantastic ski on Saturday that was not impacted by the race at all. Had I not come to see the event, I would not have known a race was happening.

Thanks to a strong base and an excellent manmade loop, skiing remains available. There is still good snow on so many of our trails, and our grooming team will continue working each day to keep conditions in the best shape possible.

As with any spring season, conditions will follow the classic cycle: firm and icy in the mornings, softening through the day, and refreezing overnight. Our groomers will do their best to manage these changing conditions and keep trails safe and enjoyable. Always watch the Grooming Report for updates.

To make it easier to get out and enjoy these great conditions, we are launching our Annual March Madness.

If you have been purchasing day tickets whenever the skiing looks good, now is the perfect time to switch. March Madness offers 50% off a season membership for the remainder of the season, allowing you to ski whenever the mood strikes without purchasing a day pass each visit. That is just SIX visits!

Spring skiing is special. Sunny days, fast mornings, and soft afternoon laps make this time of year unique.

Take advantage of the March Madness offer and come enjoy the trails while the snow is still here. Discount Code: MARCHMADNESS2026

Grand Tour Finale

Week 6 Winners

This final week threw a bit of a curveball our way, with changing conditions requiring a mid-week "pivot" — but that’s been the story of this winter, and our skiers showed up once again ready to adapt and get after it.

We really appreciate the commitment from everyone who participated week after week. It’s been great to see so many people out enjoying the trails, no matter what the conditions threw at us.

A HUGE thanks goes out to all our volunteers that worked so hard to ensure courses were setup and ready each week, and making adjustments as needed. We really appreciate all they do.

Congratulations to our Week 6 winners:

  • Sue Bond
  • Dan Brown
  • Taryn Atkinson.

Thanks again to everyone who took part this year — we look forward to doing it all again next season!

Important Notes for the coming weeks

Spring has arrived, but there is still some great skiing to be had out at Caledonia Nordic.

Our manmade loop — which we expanded in February — is holding strong and should continue to provide consistent skiing for some time. The Race Maze is also in great shape and skiing well. Beyond that, trail conditions will vary day to day as we navigate a mix of snowfall and rain in the forecast… keeping things interesting, to say the least.

If you are heading out, keep your skis waxed for changing conditions and be sure to check the grooming report to find the best skiing each day.
