Sona has been a member of the YVCHR family since 2019 when she attended her first YVC club meeting at Warwick High School. Since then she has become an amazing volunteer by participating in a wide variety of projects throughout the year--both in-person and virtual. Her favorite project to date has been the Winter Garden Club at Parkview Community Garden. She says she enjoyed doing "something so closely related to nature," especially with her busy schedule. This active volunteer loves to "do and learn as many things as [she] can," and YVC has given her the opportunity to learn many new skills.
Sona enjoys traveling, listening to music and watching web series. After high school, Sona plans to pursue a career in Medicine as a neurosurgeon.
