'Up and Away' production part of Common Senses festival
Dear Friends,

As you know, March is Developmental Disabilities Awareness Month. While I am not a big fan of the word disability (I personally prefer developmental diversity month), the fact is that we want to raise awareness and acceptance, as well as create opportunities.

As part of the celebration, I wanted to make sure that you are aware of the month-long, amazing series of events that our partner, Common Senses Festival, has organized for our community (with some of the events co-sponsored by the Munroe-Meyer Institute). This festival encompasses many events that you should check out, but I wanted to highlight one: an amazing production of “Up and Away” at The Rose Theater.

“Up and Away” is an immersive production, from a renowned New York City theater company, designed specifically for young, neurodiverse audiences.

Sincerely yours,
With the best wishes,
(and I hope to see you at The Rose Theater and at other celebratory events!)
