Scripture: Romans 12:1-8

Covenant is not merely something God makes. It is something we live. Paul invites us to present our whole lives as a living sacrifice, not out of obligation, but out of gratitude for what God has already given us, each and every day. As we close out our covenant series let's ask ourselves the question: How is God inviting me to participate?

Reflect upon the Sermon with these questions:

1. Pastor Angie describes stewardship as beginning not with duty but with grace, rooted in God's mercy rather than God's demands. Consider if your own approach to giving and serving may have been shaped more by obligation than by gratitude. How might approaching stewardship through the lens of mercy changed how you engage with what God has entrusted to you?

2. Paul's call to present ourselves as living sacrifices is described not as punishment but as surrender, dedication, and availability. What specific area of your life do you find most difficult to place on the altar, and what does that resistance reveal about where your trust truly lies?

3. In the message, Pastor Angies asserts that self-doubt can be just as damaging as pride, and that humility means recognizing our gifts come from God rather than pretending we have none. Are there gifts or callings you may have buried out of insecurity? What might it look like to offer them faithfully?

4. At the end of the sermon, Pastor Angie asks us 'What do I have to give?' but 'How is God inviting me to participate?' What is the difference between those two questions in practice? How might reframing your approach to stewardship around participation rather than contribution change the way you engage with your faith and the church?

There are 2 ways to shop!

 1. Visit mumconline.com/christmas for the Amazon wish list and Wal-Mart wish list (you can order directly from the wish lists and have the cards sent to Memorial!)

Help Needed in Lamb

PLEASE take a moment today and sign up to help at our Fall Festival! We have not have many people sign up and we are getting close to the day. This is such an important event and we need your help to make it a success!!

We had a great group from Memorial join us at our Charge Conference. We did the business of the church alongside other United Methodist Churches in our district by voting on membership rosters, budgets, and affirming leaders. Thank you to those who were able to come!
