A Message from the Executive Director
Dear LPS Foundation supporters,

We hope you had a fantastic summer filled with sunshine, adventure, and unforgettable memories. As the days grow shorter and the new school year kicks into gear, we look forward to working with you to support Littleton Public Schools students and educators in 2024-25.

Here at the Foundation, our summer fun included hosting our first annual donor appreciation event, “Champions of LPS,” and brainstorming at our Annual Summer Board Retreat. Our grant dollars powered multiple activities across the District, including an inaugural camp for middle school students at the EPIC Campus and diverse community programming at East Community Center.

We are grateful to the City of Littleton for their partnership in making this summer a success through their District Stadium Fund grants.

Please watch the video below to learn more about how funds gifted to the Foundation benefited LPS students and families in June and July.

Thank you for helping us grow minds and shape futures. Your generosity inspires me every day.

Warmly,
Stefanie Carroll, MNM
Executive Director
The "Tee it Up for LPS" Golf Tournament was a Swinging Success
Wow! What a day on the links! Thanks to our sponsors and players, the “Tee it Up for LPS” Golf Tournament on August 9 was a smashing success, raising $78,800! Whether swinging for the win, sponsoring a hole, or just soaking up the sun (and rain), the 144 participants made this event unforgettable.

We appreciate our Presenting Partner, McDonald Automotive, and our Title Partner, Envision Mechanical Engineers, for their part in making this event our biggest tournament yet.

My desire to join the Littleton Public Schools Foundation Board stems from a deep-seated passion for nurturing healthy families, which aligns perfectly with the values of AdventHealth Littleton. Being part of this Board presents a unique opportunity to leverage my connections within the community and build valuable relationships with key entities. Who was your favorite teacher, and why?
My economics professor was my favorite teacher for several reasons that resonate deeply with me. His inclusive approach to teaching welcomed a diversity of opinions, creating a classroom environment where every voice was valued and heard. He had a unique ability to unlock the simplicity of economics, demystifying complex concepts, and making them accessible to all students. Above all, his genuine care for each student's unique journey was evident; he invested time and effort to understand our individual paths and guide us with wisdom and empathy. This combination of inclusivity, clarity, and personal attention made my learning experience not only educational, but also profoundly meaningful.
Our Impact in Action: Celebrating a Milestone for Student Well-Being
Earlier this month, we had the privilege of delivering a $78,500 check to the LPS Social, Emotional, and Behavioral Services team. This significant contribution, made possible by donations to the Legacy Fund for Mental Health, empowers the LPS team to address the diverse mental health needs of students throughout the district.
