Dear Parents,
Congratulations to the entire St. Patricia School Family on a wonderful Walkathon 2026! Together, we raised over $15,700 dollars - surpassing our goal! We were assisted last Thursday by nearly 50 volunteers - a new record itself!
On Sunday our parish celebrated the official Installation of Fr. Andrzej as our new Pastor. The Mass was followed by lunch in the gym. The school was asked to provide the manpower for this event, and I was so blessed to have a number of parents show up to help out. I would particularly like to thank Mrs. Szwajnos and Mrs. Wagner. They are much more skilled at party planning than I, and their added touches made all the difference.
Tomorrow, October 2nd, we will be holding our first Parent/Teacher conferences. Parent/Teacher conferences are an important opportunity for parents and teachers to work together to support each child’s academic, social, and personal growth. We require parent attendance because a strong partnership between home and school is essential to understanding each student’s needs, celebrating progress, and addressing concerns before they become larger challenges. Please be on time for your scheduled conference. We ask that parents enter through the gym doors and check in upon arrival.
We are so happy to announce that Bobcat Bonanza is back! For those of you who are not familiar, this is our online raffle. There is a private Facebook Group called Bobcat Bonanza that members of the St. Patricia community can join and then enter to win various prizes. Check it out!
Next week is our Fall Book Fair. There are still some volunteer slots available, as well as room on the wait list. You must be VIRTUS compliant to volunteer for the Book Fair. Please be aware that parents may NOT come in to shop the Book Fair with their child. We have volunteers on hand to assist with shopping, and we bring in the older students to help with the younger classes as needed. Don’t hesitate to send a list with your child - our volunteers will honor your requests.
On Monday grades PK to 3 will be going to the Pumpkin Patch. Kindergarten-1st Grade Art Club begins on Tuesday. Parent Club meets on Wednesday, and our next Take Out Thursday will be 10/8 at Highlanders Grill. Such a busy week ahead!
God Bless!
Mrs. Dawn Dion
