Meet May featured artist: Kristi DiSalle.
"I grew up in Ashburnham, where I currently work as an elementary art teacher. I studied art and art education at UMass Dartmouth and the Art of Education University. I am a member of ArtsWorcester, GALA, and the WCA, and am the secretary of the Princeton Arts Society.
I am an acrylic painter and illustrator, and I also work with polymer clay and felting wool. My pieces often focus on a larger idea, such as eating locally grown food, or recently, women’s struggles through perimenopause and menopause. I am currently working on a project supported by a grant from ArtsWorcester which depicts this idea."
