Faith & Fundraising: Chicago 2026

February 23-26

Chicago Marriott Downtown Magnificent Mile
Chicago, Illinois

Featured Breakout Session

“Ready, Set … Raise! A Marketing Competition for Fundraisers”

Brittany Clifton

Senior Account Director, Feathr

This high-energy, interactive session is designed to help fundraisers brainstorm with their peers and uncover the latest digital marketing trends shaping the faith space all through friendly hands-on collaboration.

Attendees will be grouped to brainstorm real-world fundraising and marketing scenarios, share if they have tried that strategy, and respond to trend-based prompts pulled from nonprofit market research. Along the way, teams will weigh in on strategies across channels like social media, paid advertising, email, and more.

This is less “sit and listen” and more think, share, and learn together, with prizes awarded throughout for participation. Whether you’re a seasoned marketer or just getting started, you’ll leave with fresh ideas, practical takeaways, and new connections you can tap into long after the session ends.

Learning Outcomes:

  1. Uncover the latest trends and research-based findings in nonprofit marketing
  2. Practice real-world applications of marketing strategies
  3. Connect with your peers, share knowledge and source new ideas to bring back to your organization

Meet Brittany

Brittany Clifton is a Senior Account Director at Feathr, where she consults with nonprofits on the most impactful ways to do their best digital marketing to fuel their missions.

Brittany has worked with nonprofits for over 15 years, with the primary focus being on event planning and fundraising events. She has helped plan, promote, and execute hundreds of galas, golf tournaments, and special events. She’s sat on the board of Stop Children’s Cancer and been the Co-Chair of their largest fundraiser, which had over 2,000 people in attendance.

When she’s not combining her passion of fundraising and purposeful marketing, she’s trying new restaurants (like a foodie does) and taking golf cart rides around her neighborhood with her husband in Winter Garden, Florida.
