2027 Community Housing Development Organization (CHDO) Guidelines and Application Have Been Posted

The Ohio Housing Finance Agency (OHFA) Board approved the 2027 CHDO Guidelines. Visit the CHDO page on OHFA's website to view the guidelines. The due date for the CHDO certification application is January 7, 2027, by 5:00 p.m.

2026 4% Low-Income Housing Tax Credit (LIHTC) with Bond Gap Financing (BGF) Guidelines Have Been Posted

The OHFA Board approved the 2026 4% LIHTC with BGF guidelines. Visit the 4% LIHTC with BGF page on OHFA's website to view the guidelines. The due date for BGF applications is February 16, 2027, by 5:00 p.m.

Register to Attend the Housing Development Assistance Program (HDAP) Annual Program Advisory Group (PAG) Meeting

OHFA will be hosting the Annual PAG meeting for HDAP (HOME, National Housing Trust Fund, and Ohio Housing Trust Funds) to provide the Ohio Department of Development with feedback for the Program Year 2027 Ohio Consolidated Plan Annual Action Plan.

Reminder: 2026 4% LIHTC and Affordable Assisted Living (AAL) Application Window Closes Soon

The 2026 4% LIHTC and AAL program application window will close on Friday, October 30, 2026. If you have questions, please contact 4percentcomments@ohiohome.org.

The application window will reopen for Program Year 2027 on Monday, February 1, 2027.

2027 Experience and Capacity

The Experience and Capacity submission window will open on Monday, November 30, 2026 for calendar year 2027 approvals. The 2027 Experience and Capacity Workbook will be posted in November. Submit Experience and Capacity questions to QAP@ohiohome.org and watch for an updated FAQ in November.
