The 5th Annual ACT Trail Fest Planning is Underway!

5K, 10K or Half-Marathon

September 20, 2025

We are excited to announce the free Kid's Flow Fun Trail Race is back! You will want to register early for this popular event! Open to kids age 5-12, this year the kid's fun ride will kick off at 9:15.

Call for volunteers for Trail Fest

Last year's runners had great things to say about this event. Many had never done a trail run before and were surprised to discover just how much fun it can be. This one is a flat, shady course that winds throughout the ACT Community Trails and the Eastern Trail. It has also been certified as a Youth Trail run. With the new playground, the Kids Bike Trail Race on our Flow Trail, there is a lot for the family to do while you run.

Meet Two of our Newest Board Members and Active Volunteers!

Randy & Karen Chenard

The Arundel Conservation Trust is proud to be a volunteer-led organization. Our board members are a dedicated group of individuals, who contribute their time and diverse skills in support of ACT's Mission to build community through the conservation, preservation and management of its land. Karen, a volunteer for Trail Fest, recruited Randy as a Trail Blazer. As his appreciation for ACT grew, he was excited to join the board as well. In turn, he recruited Karen to join the board in 2025. Both are deeply grateful for the ACT Community Trails—you can find them there almost daily with their beloved lab, Bauer! Read more about our amazing board members here!

We'd love to have you join our wonderful volunteer team. We need committee members, trail blazers and day volunteers for our September Trail Fest!
