EXHIBITION PREVIEW

Hello Everyone!

I'm excited to be included in the upcoming show "In Line | Out of Line" at Agora Gallery, opening Thursday, May 1. Please come join us for a lovely dose of art and springtime in New York! The exhibition will showcase abstract and figurative works that explore the invisible yet interconnected forces between bodies, space and nature. Other featured artists include Aaron Jackson Bowman, Cabell Molina, Margo in Margate and Michele Simonetti.

For this show, I will be debuting a few works from Lights of Passage, a new series centered on the cosmos. Building upon familiar iconography—such as the hourglass as self-portrait, and the stepping stones symbolizing the past, present, and future—these pieces push into a space of existential inquiry.

In both Hope Rises and A Kiss To Build a Dream On, I—or perhaps the collective "us"—am depicted gazing skyward, examining the universe for a greater cosmic order. Like Orion’s Belt, the trio of lights in these compositions become symbols of strength, perseverance, and unity, governed by unseen yet interdependent forces of transformation and connection. The buildings at the bottom represent the earthly element to our existence. In this sense, we are tied down yet starry-eyed. Ultimately, every image in this collection is an attempt to explore the energy of our circumstances, to share that even with the inevitability of constant natural flux, we can still heal our hearts and minds and explore the wisdom that comes from shared adversity.

Looking forward to seeing everyone soon!
