Old Brooklyn is ready to celebrate and we want you to be part of it! OB StreetFest returns next Saturday, October 11 from 2-8pm transforming Broadview Road into a vibrant, walkable festival full of food, music, and community pride.

OBCDC Annual Meeting & Board Election

Every October, OBCDC hosts an Annual Meeting that includes the election of new board members, announcing new OBCDC business member benefits and remarks from Old Brooklyn CDC leadership.



This year’s gathering will be at the Foundry Concert Club. To attend, you must RSVP using the link below or emailing Sandy Worona at SandyW@oldbrooklyn.com. 

Pampered Pets, Now with Extra Room to Shine

Platinum Pooch Grooming & International Dog Spa has expanded their Old Brooklyn location, allowing them to stay rooted in the community they love. Their improved space features state-of-the-art grooming equipment, larger bathing areas, and more staff—including a full-time bather for quicker appointments. With nearly two decades of certified experience behind their training, your pet’s comfort and care come first. Follow them on social media for giveaways and a virtual tour of the new facility!

A Green Future for Broadview Road

The Broadview Street Depaving and Greening Project will be the addition of ~11,780 square feet of new greenspace and 54 future tree sites along Broadview Road between Pearl and Valley/Searsdale. This project reduces improves walkability of Broadview Road by supporting cleaner air, cooler temperatures, and promotes better stormwater management. Funding for this project has been earmarked by Councilwoman Maurer and Councilman Harsh in collaboration with the Mayor's Office of Capital Projects and OBCDC. We are looking forward to sharing more updates as they become available!
