Hello!
Turning points are wonderful, especially, when we can plan for them. Events such as graduation, a new job, a new home, weddings, or a retirement are joyful rites of passage. However, turning points often come to us without warning. Severe illness, natural disaster, sudden job loss, bankruptcy, loss of a loved one, relationship breakup...adversity can hit us out of the blue. In times like these, we want to cling to the past, even though what was once safe may now be dangerous. Even though what we could once do with ease is now a struggle. We want to succeed. Giving up feels like defeat, and we delay the benefits that await us around the bend, in the new circumstances.
I have an oldie Moment that says, "Failure comes when it is time to dream new dreams". When we fail to respond to a turning point with positive resolve, we invite unnecessary hardship.
We learn these things as we age, because we go through so many turning points and wake-up calls. We must remember that for young people, these challenges loom large. Surely we provide extra love, assurance, patience, and support to them in these times.

Much love to you and everyone in your life.
May this Message bring you renewal, strength, clarity, and HOPE
(How-to Overcome Practically Everything).
