One Month in at Old Brooklyn CDC

One of the things that’s stood out to me so far is just how much history and pride are wrapped up in Old Brooklyn, and I’m excited to continue to learn and have conversations with the community.

Community Updates & News

Ziggy's Produce & Farm is OPEN!

Ziggy’s Produce & Farm, located at 4641 Broadview Rd., has served Old Brooklyn for nearly four decades. Owned by its current operators for 17 years, the neighborhood staple is now renovated and reopened for the community thanks to the support of OBCDC, Cleveland Neighborhood Progress, and the Ward 12 Community Corridor Program.

Pearl Road United Methodist Church Finds New Temporary Home

OBCDC and PRUMC have been hard at work over the past few months to identify a temporary home for the congregation while the Memphis and Pearl project gets underway. We are thrilled to share that they have found a space in Brooklyn, Ohio, at 8235 Memphis Avenue. This former church is the perfect spot for PRUMC to settle and continue to grow its congregation before coming back to Old Brooklyn! For more information on PRUMC, visit pearlroadumc.org.
