CTE Eagle Cafe

Eagle Cafe continues to refine its menu per our students' recommendations. The menu shows what our students in this program serve our customers. This program is student-centered with guidance and support from Michelle "Mimi" Aguilar. It is lovely capturing students' passion for deciding what to serve our customers.

I must recognize our outstanding work experience students who have the talent to help streamline the cafe:

First Period: Andrew Garza, Jacquelyn Gascon Lopez (second period), Michael Franquez, and Reilly Turner.

Second Period: Nayely Colmenares Rodriguez and Renea Love (first & third period)

Third Period: Christoffel Arevalo-Angel & Sumi Yang

Eagle Cafe is rocking because of our fantastic work experience students.
They have passion and the drive to help support Mimi's vision.

Culinary Arts
Once again, COVID-19 has impacted events at CSDF. For the second year in a row the Deaf Culinary Bowl has been cancelled. DO NOT WORRY! The culinary arts students have proposed an alternative competition. This time it will not be against the other Deaf schools, but with our own in-house teachers!!! Students threw down the spatula and a brave group of teachers accepted the challenge.
The event will take place in March in the culinary arts classroom.
These are the brave knights that will duel on the kitchen battlefield
