Most competitive juniors are giving away 2–3 shots every round.
Not because of their swing.
Wrong targets. Poor decisions. Unrealistic expectations that lead to frustration and a mental downward spiral.
That's a course management problem.
Parents spend thousands of dollars on tournament golf every year. Entry fees. Hotels. Flights. Rental cars. Time away from school and work.
The goal isn't to guarantee results. The goal is to make sure your junior is prepared to get the most out of the talent they already have.
I'm Chris Petefish. I played the Korn Ferry Tour for four years, reached a world ranking of #288, competed in the 2024 U.S. Open, and recently shot 66 to earn medalist honors at 2026 U.S. Open Local Qualifying.
I don't coach swings.
I coach decisions.
On June 10th at Echelon Golf Club in Milton, Georgia, I'm hosting a full-day Scoring & Course Management Clinic for just 8 competitive junior golfers.
We'll cover:
• Strokes Gained and what the numbers actually mean
• Target selection and risk management
• Tournament preparation and expectations
• On-course decision making
• A 9-hole playing session where we'll apply everything from the morning
If your junior is serious about lowering scores and competing at a higher level, I'd love to have them join us. We will have more dates this summer.
