We are excited to offer you an opportunity to not only support our welding program but also gain additional marketing for your business. As part of our commitment to providing our students with the best hands-on experience, we are seeking sponsorships to help us acquire much-needed equipment and tools.

In return for your generous donation, our welding students will be constructing a special display sign, like the one shown below, to recognize and promote those who contribute to our program.

Join us in shaping the future of skilled welders and get your business noticed at the same time!

Enterprise Center Tips

Attracting tourists to your small business can be a rewarding strategy, especially if you're located in a high-traffic area or a destination spot. Here are some tailored tips for small businesses to attract tourists:

1. Leverage Local Attractions and Culture

  • Collaborate with local attractions: Partner with nearby tourist spots, hotels, or travel agencies to offer discounts, coupons, or promotions that include your business.
  • Highlight local culture: Showcase local traditions, culture, and unique products that appeal to tourists looking for an authentic experience.
  • Offer souvenirs: Even if your business isn’t a typical souvenir shop, offering locally-themed items (like t-shirts, custom products, or postcards) can attract tourists.

2. Optimize Online Presence for Travel Searches

  • Google My Business & Maps: Ensure your business is easy to find online by claiming and optimizing your Google My Business profile. Update your hours, photos, and tourist-relevant information.
  • TripAdvisor, Yelp, or travel platforms: Register your business on platforms that tourists use to discover places to visit.
  • SEO for tourist searches: Optimize your website for keywords tourists might search for, like "best [product/service] in [city]."

3. Create Tourist-Specific Offers and Promotions

  • Tourist discounts: Offer exclusive discounts for tourists with proof of travel (e.g., hotel key cards, boarding passes).
  • Group deals: Tourists often travel in groups, so offering group discounts can be a great way to attract them.
  • Seasonal packages: Create special packages during peak tourist seasons that cater to travelers (e.g., combo offers, guided tours, or experiences).

4. Leverage Social Media and Influencers

  • Instagram-worthy spots: Create visually appealing displays or "Instagrammable" corners of your store to encourage tourists to take pictures and share them on social media.
  • Use local hashtags: Add relevant location-based hashtags (e.g., #Visit[City], #Explore[City]) to your social media posts so tourists can find your business.
  • Collaborate with travel influencers: Partner with local or travel influencers to visit your business and share their experience online. Influencer endorsements can be a big draw for tourists.

5. Offer Unique Experiences

  • Workshops and activities: Tourists often look for activities beyond sightseeing. If possible, offer experiences like workshops, tastings, or guided tours that can engage them.
  • Personalized experiences: Offer tourists the option to create customized products, such as engraved souvenirs or personalized items that they can take home.

6. Promote through Local Tourism Boards and Events

  • Tourism board partnerships: Work with your city’s tourism board to include your business in their promotions, brochures, and tours.
  • Participate in local festivals and events: If your city hosts tourist-heavy festivals, markets, or fairs, make sure your business is represented and promoted during these events.

By creating an experience that resonates with tourists, you'll not only attract them to your business but also encourage them to share their experience with others, amplifying your reach.
