Join us at the Malvern farmers market for a special celebration of the seasonal variety this Saturday, May 31. We’re welcoming strawberries to market for their deliciously short & sweet season. There’s nothing more exciting than the first farmers market strawberry of the year, especially when it comes with a side of fun activities.

Chester County Concert Band and Picnic in the Park


Enjoy a festive evening at Paoli Memorial Grounds & Malvern Memorial Park this Saturday! The Chester County Concert Band will play patriotic favorites from 7pm to 8pm, leading up to Sunday’s Memorial Parade. Before the concert, the beloved Picnic in the Park returns at 6:15pm, featuring free hamburgers, hot dogs, and fresh salad courtesy of Worrell’s Butcher Shop. Bring your lawn chairs, invite your loved ones, and soak in the music, food, and community spirit!

Walking Tour of the Paoli Battlefield and Historic Malvern

Paoli Battlefield Park

Come out and walk the hallowed ground of the Paoli Battlefield in Malvern, PA. Learn what happened here on the night of September 20, 1777 that led to this battle being called the “Paoli Massacre”. The tour runs from 2pm to 5pm and will start at the Valley Creek Church, right across from the street from the Malvern Borough Building at 146 Channing Ave, Malvern, PA 19355.

In case of rain, the walk will be replaced by a lecture at Borough Hall, 2nd floor.

Movie Night at Malvern Memorial Memorial Cabin

Bring your blankets, chairs, and the whole family for a FREE outdoor movie night at the beautiful Malvern Memorial Cabin! Watch Gru, the Minions, and plenty of hilarious antics light up the screen as the sun goes down.

157th Memorial Parade and 209th Memorial Commemoration in Memorial Park

On Sunday, June 1, 2025 at 1:30 PM, The Upper Main Line Memorial Association will sponsor the 157th Annual Memorial Parade in the Borough of Malvern, Chester County, Pennsylvania.


Recognized as among the oldest Memorial Commemoration in America, the Parade in 2025 will continue the tradition of honoring the men and women who have served our country and especially those who gave their lives in defense of our freedom.


The Parade route will again follow King Street from the Malvern Fire Station west to Warren Avenue, south to Monument Avenue then west to the Memorial Park.


After the Parade on Sunday, the 209th Memorial Ceremony will take a moment to remember and pay tribute to those who have defended our freedom.


All of the events take place in Memorial Park, on Monument Ave. in Malvern. In the unlikely event of rain, there is no rain date for the parade or any of the activities.

Temporary Parking Restrictions for Malvern Memorial Parade

To accommodate the 157th Annual Malvern Memorial Parade, parking will be prohibited on the following streets from 11:00 AM to 3:00 PM on Sunday, June 1st, 2025:


  • King Street from Fire Station entrance to Warren Avenue
  • Powelton Avenue East Side from W. First Avenue to King Street
  • Monument Avenue from S. Warren Avenue to Wayne Avenue
  • Wayne Avenue both sides from W. First Avenue to Monument Avenue


Important: If your vehicle will be parked there and unattended during these hours, please move it from these areas before leaving.
