PMAA Files Amicus Brief with PA Supreme Court

On July 14, PMAA filed an amicus brief in the Pennsylvania Supreme Court in the case Pennsylvania Public Utility Commission v. Conyngham Township and Sanitary Sewer Authority of the Borough of Shickshinny.

The case involves the jurisdiction of the Public Utility Commission over municipal authorities. The ruling of the Supreme Court in this case will have a profound impact on municipal authorities since many municipal authorities provide services across municipal boundaries.
