We are absolutely crushing the round counts this year! Thank you for being a part of what will be a historic year at Moorhead Country Club. We are excited to announce though that it isn't even close to over yet! August is packed with tons of member events, some of which are our personal favorites. There is truly something for everyone. We had such a great year with all of the kids and it's time to reward all the hard work. We will be hosting a fun night for families at the club with our carnival night. Parents and kids will have a chance to win fun games on the course and main putting green along with loads of door prizes.
 
We will also use this night to hand out our 2 big awards for the season:
T. E. Smith Award- Most Outstanding Junior Golfer
Avery Baker Award- Most Improved Junior Golfer
 
Northern Brain Freeze is back too!
We are amped to have NBF to cater the party. Stop by for some complimentary sweet and sour treats from our favorite food truck company! Northern Brain Freeze is a locally owned shaved ice food truck. With over 20 flavors, including sugar-free options, their treats are perfect for everyone!

Men's Championship Flight 
The Men's Club Championship is the premier match play event at Moorhead Country Club. 16 men will compete for the coveted trophy and title of 2021 Match Play Champion. The field is limited to 16 players. Exemptions will be given to The 2020 Men's Defending Club Champion- Andrew Passanante, The 2021 Men's Stroke Play Champion- TBA , and the top-9 finishers in The 2021 Stroke Play Championship (results)
Remaining spots will be filled with the lowest USGA indexes. Seedings will be #1-Defending Club Champion, #2-Current Stroke Play Champion, #3-#16 will be allocated by USGA index regardless of qualifying method.
 
Men's Championship Flight plays (2) 18-Hole Match on Saturday and (2) 18-Hole Matches on Sunday.
Play is from the blue tees.

Women will be flighted by handicap into flights of 4 players. Women will play round robin match play within their designated flight.
1 point earned for winning a hole. 1/2 point earned for tying a hole. 1 point earned for winning a match. 1/2 point earned for tying a match. 10 total points possible per match. 
The player earning the most points within her flight is crowned the flight champion.  Play is from the Red Tees

NEW **Women's "Get Event Ready" Flight**
The Women's Get Event Ready is a team event targeted at the female golfer that wants to play the weekend festivites without the stress or intimidation of individual golf. Women are invited to participate in a fun 4-woman, 9-hole scramble Sunday morning. Play is from the Red Tees

Shootout Week
Did you crack the Top-10 this year? If you did expect an invitation to play in the following awesome shootout events. The top earners in Women's, Men's and Couples will play for the remaining 10% of payouts withheld from the daily games. Even if you get eliminated you still win something. And even if you are not playing...you are definitely going to want to spectate this marquis week of the season. Bev carts and galleries following the action!

Winter Rules will be played throughout the entire 18-holes! $40 per Team Registration includes entry into all on-course games and chance at prizes.

Not to help, but simply for a shoulder to cry on. The format is a 2-Man Member Scramble. What a great way to cap of the 2020 tournament calendar! Good luck...you'll need it.
