Thank you to everyone who came out on Friday, August 27, to celebrate the opening of Dan Reaser Stadium. Dan Reaser ‘78, his wife Mila, son Danny ‘11, daughter Shannon ‘15, and President Annie Heidersbach cut the ribbon on our new synthetic turf field. Other members of the Reaser Family on the ribbon line included Danny’s wife, Bailey Reaser ‘06, Danny’s sons Beau and Hudson, Shannon’s husband, Kyle Brown, and Dan’s brother, Tony Reaser ‘81. Suzanne Lester, Principal, Dr. Frank O’Linn, Superintendent of the Diocese of Cleveland, and Father Frank Kosem, former Pastor of St. Jude Parish, were also on the ribbon line. Over 150 people attended the celebration reception and free foam paws and popcorn were given to 300 fans. The Elyria Catholic Panthers emerged from the field house and onto the field through a new twenty-five foot Panther head and a plane flew overhead for the first 15 minutes of the game proclaiming Thank You! Loyalty that Never Dies! The Panthers finished the celebration off with a 68 to 42 win over Sandusky Perkins!
