Small Businesses Projected To Invest More In IT
According to recent reports, small and medium sized organizations will be investing a lot more in technology in 2023. In fact, around 75% of surveyed businesses will be spending between 10% and 20% or more in the coming year.
Where are these budgets going? Well, it seems that a majority of these organizations, if decision making is siloed, wind up with some buyer's remorse - we're here to help make sure that doesn't happen.
Some of the biggest areas where this investment is warranted include security and data integrity to protect yourself from the bad actors looking for vulnerabilities. Just having support for onsite infrastructure (servers, PCs, etc.) along with for any cloud programs in use is the second one - when things aren't working as they should or something changes outside your control, having someone there to help right the ship is something that organizations truly see value in.
The other major area of investment is in efficiency and ease. There are two reasons for this. One, is the continuing staffing shortage - even organizations that have the staff are more concerned about losing the staff. As such, it's important that the staff there have an easier time completing their tasks and approve of the functionality while also ensuring that the staff that is in place are able to complete as much work as possible. The second reasoning is that there is a recession predicted by many organizations in the near future. One way that organizations see themselves able to cope with that is to be able to make their staffs' positions easier to handle and more efficient so that they can look to get more work done.
