Los Altos Police Collecting School Supply Donations
The Los Altos Police is collecting school supplies for local children in need through its 4th Annual “Pack the Patrol Car” fundraiser. Donations accepted at the Police Department through Friday, August 4.
The City is recruiting for its Financial, Joint Volunteer, Library, PARC, and Senior commissions with the addition of the Complete Streets Commission due to recent vacancies. Applications are due Friday, September 1.
Parks & Recreation is currently surveying residents for possible future events and programs that the community would like to see offered. The survey is anonymous and will close Friday, August 25.
The Santa Clara County Library District is looking for volunteers to tutor kindergarten through sixth grade students. Tutors must be 16 or older and available at least once a week, Monday-Thursday from 4-5:30 PM, for a duration of six months; the program begins mid-September.
