This is Going to be AWESOME!

Just a reminder that Outdoor Live Music at Otway is coming up Saturday, August 29! (Mini Music Fest Vibe!). This will be fun.

We are turning the biathlon range into our own little outdoor music venue for an evening with Rabbit Soup and Danny Bell & His Disappointments.

Bring your camping chairs and blankets, grab a spot in the range, and settle in for a fun summer evening of live music at Otway.

Tickets are $25 and can be purchased in advance or right at the venue. Bring your own food, or we will have some simple snacks and beverages available. No outside alcohol is permitted.

Grab some friends, come hang out, and enjoy a great night of live music at Otway!

Find Your Program This Winter!

Program Registration is open, and we have an amazing lineup of options ready to go for the 2026–27 season!

Whether you are brand new to skiing, looking to build your skills, ready to race, or simply want another reason to get outside this winter, there is a program for you at Caledonia Nordic.

From our youngest skiers taking their first steps on snow to youth and adult programs, recreational skiing, racing, biathlon, and more, there are plenty of ways to get involved.

Great coaches, great trails, great people, and lots of time outside — that is a pretty good way to spend a Prince George winter!

Check out our programs and register now. We cannot wait to see everyone back on the snow!

Teck Northern Dryland Training Camp!

Have a skier 8 years or older who is interested in Track Attack or one of our older youth programs? Come join us for the Teck Northern Regional Dryland Camp, September 4–7!

These camps are always a ton of fun and are a great chance for athletes to get together before winter, connect with coaches and other skiers, and get moving. The weekend will include roller skiing, running, games and lots of other activities.

And knowing our crew, there is a pretty good chance we can work some Gaga Ball into the weekend too!

The camp is open to athletes born in 2018 or earlier, and you do not need to be a seasoned racer to take part. If you are interested in our Track Attack and older programs and want to see what it is all about, you are welcome to join us!

September 4–7 | Otway Nordic Centre

Camp Fee: $140 – includes meals and use of the paved roller ski track.

Registration is open now and closes September 1.

Come spend a fun weekend with us and get excited for the winter ahead!

A Sweet Deal for all our Members!

Thanks KalTire!

Kal Tire has been a longtime supporter of Cross Country BC and Skills Development Programs across the province, helping kids get outside, have fun, and build a lifelong love of skiing.

And that support comes with a pretty great perk for our members!

Cross Country BC members (that is all of you) can save $100 on a set of four Nokian tires purchased and installed before September 30, 2026.

If new tires are on your list before winter, do not pass this one up! Check out the coupon below for all the details and bring it with you when you visit Kal Tire.

A big thank you to Kal Tire for continuing to support Nordic skiing and our young skiers throughout BC!

Caledonia Criterium is Coming to Otway!

After a summer of practice sessions on the paved trails, it is almost time for the Caledonia Criterium!

On Sunday, September 13, the Prince George Cycling Club will be taking over the paved trail network at Otway for a fast and fun day of racing.

There are still a couple of chances to get out and practise the course before race day! Our Friday evening Criterium practice sessions run from 4:00 pm to dusk, with riders travelling the paved trails in reverse direction. The route will be marked, but all trail users should keep an eye out for riders and use extra care at singletrack crossings.

It has been awesome watching riders get to know the course throughout the summer, and we are excited to see it all come together for race day.

Whether you are planning to race or just want to see what a bike criterium on our paved trails looks like, come check it out and cheer on the riders!

Sunday, September 13 | Caledonia Nordic Ski Club
