DIXON PUMPS - TANK CLEANING DOLLY - TCU SERIES
Dixon Pumps introduces the new and improved TCU Series Tank Cleaning Dolly, with coalescing and water separation features!

The TCU (Tank Cleaning Unit) is a complete mobile tank cleaning and fuel filtration solution for cleaning underground and aboveground storage tanks. It provides a full 360 ⁰ cleaning of the entire internal surface area of the tank walls, and filtering the contaminated product inside the dirty tank, limiting product losses due to contamination.

Water Removal - With enhanced coalescing and water separation features, this unit provides a mobile platform for dealing with water in fuel, one of the most damaging challenges for a Fuel Quality Management program (see "Water Removal" on mycleanfuel.com) . Removing damaging water helps control microbial growth in tanks. Coalescing and water separation efficiently removes water from fuel. The two-stage 8" aluminum housing uses a 6”x18” coalescer filter and 7” water separator solution for meeting engine manufacturer’s purity standards.

Visual indicators on the unit help identify the presence of free and emulsified water in the fuel.


The sight glass on the side of the coalescer housing indicates the level of free water that can be drained from the bottom of the housing.
The sight glasses on the inlet and outlet give a visual indicator of water and particulate content in the flow stream.
Particulate Removal - The aluminum bag filter housing can pre-filter particulate down to .5 microns and the coalescer down to 3 microns for fine contaminant removal. The combination provides optimal liquid filtration capable of meeting today’s stringent ISO specifications.
Tank Cleaning - Not only can the TCU filter fluid, it can also clean the tank. Pairing the system with a tank cleaning nozzle allows for non-manned entry tank cleaning for above-ground and under-ground storage tanks. The system is designed to operate either the Gamma Jet GJ9.2 (2” access) or GJ10 (4” access) tank cleaning nozzles helping remove contaminants and breaks up dirt and sludge, allowing for extraction using the TCU filters to minimize valuable product loss.
The TCU is available on a 2-wheel dolly platform, making it easy to roll through doorways, between close-packed tanks, and into other areas where access is tight. These units come with an explosion-proof AC 115 volt single-phase, 1.5 HP motor with 50 ft. of power cord. Fully-equipped units are available with a grounding rod, a 1.5 in. nozzle, 2 x 10 ft. of EP petroleum hose, a 3 ft. suction drop pipe, a 7 ft. debris wand, 7 ft. suction drop pipe....all with camlock fittings for easy connections.
