A NOTE FROM GRACE MAGLEY, EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR

Welcome back, MassCUE Community!

Grace Magley, MassCUE Executive Director

Whether this is your first September in the classroom or your twentieth, I hope you're diving into the new year with energy to spare!

There's something electric about this time of year. The hallways are buzzing again, the ideas are flowing, and our community of innovators across Massachusetts is already hard at work dreaming up ways to make this the best year yet for our students.

We have so much to celebrate this fall! Registration is open for our Fall Conference: Forward and Beyond, happening Oct. 14–15 at Gillette Stadium, and it is going to be two incredible days packed with real strategies, real connections, and a room full of people who just get it.

We're also thrilled to be kicking off Cohort 2 of PEA²K, our program helping district leadership teams build a real, actionable AI roadmap for their schools. Only 5 district slots remain, so if you've been thinking about applying, now is the moment! Cohort 2 kicks off in person at the Fall Conference, so there's no better time to join us. And if you haven't yet, grab your MassCUE membership at our lowest rate of the year before it goes up on Sept. 15!

None of this happens without you: our members, our volunteers, our partners, and every educator who shows up ready to try something new.

Thank you for being part of this incredible community. I cannot wait to see what we build together this year!

Here's to a joyful fall,

Grace

Hear from Speakers Who Will
Change How You Think About the Year Ahead

This year's keynote lineup pairs Dr. Kip Glazer, who makes the case in Beyond the Framework: Leading AI with Your Humanity Intact that your judgment and values are your most important AI leadership tool, with Matt Miller, whose talk Screens: Teaching Humans in a Tech-Obsessed, AI-Saturated World skips the hype and fear in favor of the judgment calls teachers make every day. Around them, Spotlight speakers Shannon McClintock Miller and Starr Sackstein dig into library leadership and student-led assessment, and Featured Speakers Debbie Tannenbaum, Donnie Piercey, Dr. Matthew Joseph, Jessica Garbowski, and Tanika Perry-Vincent round out a lineup packed with strategies you can bring straight back to your building.

Start Building Your Schedule

And let’s not forget the educators who submitted proposals to speak at the fall conference. There are too many to name. We encourage you to review the sessions and start planning your conference agenda. It is sure to be a full two days. Explore the schedule & speakers.
