The Finish Line is Soooooo Close

The ads and phone calls will stop in just five days. The 2026 midterms will be over and part of American political history. Elections bring heartbreak, surprises, and hard-fought victories. This one will be no different. But until the polls close, we still have a chance to make a difference.

Our candidates still need us. They are still fighting, and so must we. We have come too far to let up now. Donate (see below). Make phone calls. Knock on doors. Reach out to friends and family. Every dollar, every conversation, every voter we reach matters. What we do in these final days can help determine the direction our country takes for years to come.

We’ll have plenty of time after Tuesday to analyze the election, from strategy and messaging to the candidates. But there is no time for a do-over after Election Day. We have five days to do everything we can. I don't want any of us looking back wishing we had done more. Let's give these final days everything we've got.

AND PLEASE DON'T FORGET TO VOTE! Make sure your friends and family vote, too. Don't assume someone else will take care of it. Make a plan, cast your ballot, and encourage everyone you know to do the same. Our right to vote is precious, and we cannot take it for granted. The best way to make our voices heard is to show up and vote.

Five days to go. Every action counts. No sitting on the sidelines. Let's finish strong. Our future, our democracy, our freedoms, and the country we leave for the next generation will be determined by the actions we take over the next several days.

Thank you for your support of JAC. Visit our website at www.jacpac.org throughout election night for up-to-date race results.

If you, or anyone you know, encounters problems while voting:

CALL 866-OUR-VOTE (1-866-687-8683)

Tenth Dems has activated their Voter Assistance Hotline at 847-433-VOTE (8683), staffed primarily by attorneys trained in election law and voter services. We encourage people to call this number with any questions they may have, however large or small, relating to the election, or to report any interference with voting or other problems at the polls. The Election Protection Team members will be at numerous polling places around the district, and we can dispatch one to any other location, usually within minutes.

THE LAST WORD

“Nobody will ever deprive the American people of the right to vote except the American people themselves—and the only way they could do that is by not voting at all.”

- Franklin D. Roosevelt

Joint Action Committee for Political Affairs (JACPAC) is a pro-Israel PAC with a domestic agenda. We support a strong U.S.-Israel relationship and advocate for reproductive health and the separation of religion and state and incorporate other issues of importance to the Jewish community, including gun violence prevention and climate change. In addition to providing financial support for U.S. Senate and House campaigns, JACPAC educates our membership with outreach events designed to inform and activate their participation in the political process.
