Volunteer Diversity Key to Mental Health Connections |
There are many reasons why people reach out to Pro Bono Counseling (PBC) to request mental health care counseling. Some of the most commonly cited reasons are due to experiencing anxiety, stress, sadness, grief, relationship issues, or dealing with past trauma. And Pro Bono Counseling’s priority is to connect you with the mental health support that suits you best.
More than 900 licensed mental health clinicians are currently enrolled as Pro Bono Counseling volunteers, each with diverse backgrounds as well as varied and distinct areas of expertise, skills, and specialties. During the enrollment process, volunteers indicate the type of cases they would like to assist with.
“We are able to provide the most appropriate match between a client and the clinician because PBC volunteers represent such a vast array of mental health resources, from the areas they specialize in, to the therapy approaches they utilize, to the populations they assist with,” explained Clinical Director Sherri Bloom.

Pro Bono Counseling Listens and Responds to Your Needs | |
At Pro Bono Counseling, our priority is to provide the mental health support that suits you best. And that includes listening to you and ensuring that we are meeting your needs with our services and resources, and advancing our equity goals.
Pro Bono Counseling has partnered with Listen4Good, a program that helps organizations hear directly from clients about what the organization does well and what could be improved. We are working to create an effective feedback system that enables us to respond to your needs and deliver measurable impact.
