When we helped start Must! Charities in 2012, the idea was simple: individually we could each do something, but together we could make a much greater difference. Paso Robles is where we built Torrin Winery, raised our boys, made lifelong friends, and built a life we are incredibly grateful for. Giving back has always felt like a natural part of being part of this community. There are plenty of things in life we may look back on and question, but the time, energy, and financial support we give to others is rarely one of them.
Over the years, our involvement with Must! has taken many different forms. We have served on the Collaborative Circle, spent time researching where the greatest needs are, and helped vet nonprofit organizations so we know donors’ time and money are going where they can truly have an impact. We have also had the chance to watch our own boys become involved, volunteering at ECHO and serving on the Must! Youth Board, which has made it even more meaningful for us.
We continue to give our time and financial support every year because we have seen firsthand what can happen when people come together around a shared purpose. We are proud to have been part of Must! from the beginning and grateful to continue supporting the work and the community that has given so much to our family.
